Tolu Balsam, extracted from the Myroxylon balsamum tree, which is in the same family as Peru balsam, features a fragrance that lies somewhere between Sumatran benzoin and Peru balsam. When used in compositions, it imparts a sweet-resinous aura and a beautiful amber color.

Note: The pure form of Tolu resinoid consists of dense and hard chunks. Dissolving it requires skill and determination! Nonetheless, it's recommended.
