Karol Jaśkowiak

In 2019, I opened perfumiarz.com – a shop for people who also want to understand perfumery and try it for themselves. Today I create original fragrance compositions, teach postgraduate perfumery courses, and run workshops. For the Wrocław-based brand Tkliwi Nihiliści, I created five fragrances – the first batch of one hundred bottles sold out in two weeks.

I make some ingredients myself. Every March, I collect poplar buds – I have only a two-week window. They then spend six months macerating in alcohol before they are ready. I have learned that in perfumery, rushing simply does not exist.

For years, perfumery has been a closed world – expensive schools, hard-to-source materials, and tight-knit communities that don't let just anyone in. We opened this shop to change that. Professional-grade ingredients, small quantities, and affordable prices – so your first step doesn't cost a fortune or a leap of faith.

Every fragrance material is a surprise. It smells different in the vial, on your skin, and as time passes. That's exactly where the magic lives – in moments you can't predict. We encourage you to experiment, to blend without a plan, and to enjoy whatever comes out of it.
