A molecule from the IFF portfolio, a higher-impact "cousin" of the classic Iso E Super — chemically the same molecule (CAS 54464-57-2), but produced through a different manufacturing process that yields an altered ratio of isomers. Timbersilk contains significantly more of the prized gamma isomer (around 15% versus about 8% in standard Iso E Super) — and it is precisely the gamma isomer that accounts for most of the "magic" in this family of molecules. The result: a more intense, denser, fuller and more expressive version — while retaining the classic velvety Iso E character.
