Parmantheme is a classic base created by Firmenich in the 1930s and still produced today. Originally, its formulation was based on ionones, heliotropin, and methyl octin carbonate. Over the years, some of these components have been replaced with more modern substances, and the composition has undoubtedly undergone a slight revamp over these 90 years. Nonetheless, it retains an air of elegance and chic sophistication.
