Odor description: powdery-floral, soft, heliotrope, mimosa, lily od the valley, anise nuances

Josenol is a completely new molecule from the Firmenich portfolio, which had its official launch at the SIMPPAR fair in May 2026 in Grasse.

This is definitely not just another boring 'muguet'. It is a molecule with a surprising, multi-dimensional scent. On one hand it is powdery, on the other quite fresh and bright. It's as if you combined Heliotropin with Florol and something anisic — all in a single molecule!

A curious note — where the name comes from. Josenol was named in honour of the late perfumer José-Louis Conesa of Firmenich. It is a beautiful industry gesture — an aroma molecule as a lasting monument to a distinguished creator. It is worth adding that Firmenich's captive names in the muguet family often carry personal stories: the 1973 Mayol owes its name to Félix Mayol, the French café-concert singer who pinned a bunch of lily-of-the-valley flowers to his lapel on 1 May 1895, before his first Parisian performance.
