A refined woody molecule with a dry, cedar-amber character and nuances of patchouli, sandalwood, and sometimes a slightly mineral, cool backdrop. Powerful, highly tenacious, and beautifully carrying in the base – it not only builds the skeleton of a composition but also adds elegance and harmony. Particularly well-suited to woody, chypre, aromatic, oriental, and fougère accords, where it emphasizes natural dryness and brings order to the whole.

In formulas, Cedroxyde® works as a highly rewarding base booster, delivering a clear, elegant woodiness. Blends well with Iso E Super, Ambroxan, and other woody-amber molecules, as well as with cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, and light musks.
