Odor Description: floral, neroli, acacia, sweetish, grape nuances

A classic aroma molecule — chemically 2-acetonaphthone, also known under the trade name "Oranger Crystals" (and historically as Neroline). It has been used in perfumery for over 100 years, in classic floral compositions and above all in reconstructions of orange blossom and neroli.

It also performs beautifully in jasmine compositions, adding powdery depth and sweetness. Prized for its excellent stability in soap and detergent bases — one of the few classic floral molecules that survive without issue in strongly alkaline media. Also used as a flavour component in food products (strawberry and orange blossom notes).
