Odor Description: herbal-spicy, slightly sweet, anise and woody nuances

Basil essence, alongside sage and rosemary, is the most important herbal ingredient in perfumery. Herbal sweetness intertwines with leafy nuances reminiscent of petitgrain. Its application is very wide, especially blending well with other herbs and citrus.

NOTE: The above essence is of the "linalool type." It is characterized by a high content of linalool, which gives it a more leafy character compared to the other type, the "methyl chavicol type," which is more anise-like.
