A 2026 launch from Firmenich — a natural apple extract (Malus domestica) obtained through the patented FIRAD™ technology, based on a cold concentration process. Unlike classic methods of solvent extraction or steam distillation — which inevitably lose the light, volatile aromatic molecules responsible for the freshness of a real fruit — FIRAD technology preserves the full chromatographic profile of the fresh biomass, including the most volatile top notes that simply evaporate in other processes.
