It has been designed as a \u003cstrong\u003emodern alternative to Galaxolide\u003c\/strong\u003e — with a similar white-musk character, but a significantly better environmental profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThat said, Orionide is not a 1:1 replacement for Galaxolide. Firstly, it is more powerful — roughly 2–3 times more potent than the classic. It has a stronger impact in the top phase, feels creamier, and carries a subtle woody-amber nuance. There is clearly more going on here than in Galaxolide.
